Our Co-operative believes in the future of breeding in Brittany. Our engagement is based
on the dialog which we maintain with our members and the

Nowadays, with nearly 1 million tons of
organic animal feed, "Le Gouessant" is one of the sector's
leaders. The group has important human and industrial means
: 725 employees, a team
of 12 nutritionists, 40 technicians and veterinary
specialists, and 6 certified factories ISO 9001: version
2000. That enables "Le Gouessant" to meet
satisfactorily
the most demanding stockbreeders.
This very ambitious company project is now the heart of all our actions.

Eager to ensure the traceability of its productions, Le
Gouessant, specialist in the animal nutrition want to secure
its biological food supply.
That is why in 1998, "Le Gouessant" group started
working with a company known for its
organic movement : UFAB, French Union of Organic Farming. This
company, created in 1972, is based in the North West of
France and is considered as a
national leader.
Today, UFAB's network covers the whole territory of France. With over
30 years of expertise in the organic field, UFAB brings
innovative solutions to farmers on a case-by-case basis.
UFAB through its resolutely natural orientation proposes an
open and dynamic organization, an exemplary production
knowledge and supports the organic farmers by finding
solutions on a case-by-case basis.
UFAB works in close cooperation with AGRONOR for the
valorization and the sale of organic fertilizers in France.
